March 2010 - Los Perros de La Cruz (The Dogs of La Cruz)
La Cruz, like a lot of small towns in Mexico, has numerous dogs.  There seem to be no leash laws, dog catchers, or
fences so these dogs live an unfettered life of total freedom.   They seem cared for and you very seldom see a mess as
expected - so someone is watching after them.  During the day, they mostly sleep on the side walk ... everyone walks
around but never over them.  Come to think of it, they mostly sleep at night too.  Here are a few of our favorites.

right turn lane and turned into
the crosswalk with the light,
just like he knew how to do it.
