South Bound - Desolation Sound to Blaine, WA
On Sept. 17, we decided to not push our luck with the weather and headed south from
Desolation Sound.  After a night anchored at Thunder Bay on the mainland, we crossed
the Strait again to Nanaimo for a few nights.  Continuing south from there, we made stops
at Chemainus and Sydney, B.C. for sightseeing.  After clearing US Customs at Roche
Harbor, we spent a couple of nights at Reid Harbor on Stuart Island before heading back
up to Blaine.
